The Congress party has made a big dent in the stronghold of Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra and Revenue Minister Govind Singh Rajput. On Sunday afternoon, Datia’s strong BJP leader and former minister of state Awadhesh Nayak joined the Congress. Along with Nayak, Rajkumar Singh Dhanaura of Surkhi in Sagar district also joined the Congress. Poet Anjum Rahbar, wife of poet and lyricist Rahat Indori, also joined the Congress. State Congress President Kamal Nath, former CM Digvijay Singh gave party membership to these leaders in the State Congress office. For a long time there was speculation about these two leaders joining the Congress.
