Members of the Maratha community in Maharashtra continued protests in different parts of the state on Tuesday, demanding Maratha reservation in government jobs and education under the OBC category. A group of protesters blocked the Mumbai-Bengaluru highway for two hours on Tuesday afternoon, causing massive traffic jam. The crowd was not ready to retreat as there was traffic jam on both sides.
