Lucknow: The entire nation is immersed in fervent celebrations today, commemorating the 77th Independence Day with zeal and splendor. In an event organized under the theme “Meri Maati, Mera Desh,” Uttar Pradesh has also joined the festivities, adorning its state capital, Lucknow, with elaborate preparations.
The heart of the celebrations lies at the State Assembly- Vidhan Sabha, where the centerpiece Independence Day program unfolded. The honorable Chief Minister, Shri Yogi Adityanath, graced the occasion at the Vidhan Sabha premises. Amidst a spirit of unity and patriotism, Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath ceremoniously hoisted the national flag, imbuing the Assembly with the tricolor’s vibrant hues. The Assembly building itself was transformed into a spectacle reminiscent of a bride adorned with the colors of the National Flag, symbolizing the nation’s collective pride.
