Now, new townships can be developed in those cities where the development authorities don’t have the funds to acquire land. The state government has decided to provide a seed capital of 1580 crore rupees to five development authorities and one housing development board under the Chief Minister’s Urban Expansion/New City Incentive Scheme.”
