New Delhi: Ganga Saptami is celebrated on the seventh day of the bright fortnight of the Vaishakh month. Ganga Saptami is observed every year as the manifestation day of Mother Ganga’s descent. On this occasion, taking a dip in the Ganges and performing acts of charity hold special significance. This year, Ganga Saptami will be celebrated on May 14 in the month of Vaishakh.
