New Delhi: A court in Qatar has accepted the appeal against the death penalty for eight former Indian Navy personnel. The appeal was filed by India against the death penalty given to former navy officers in a case related to espionage last month. In recent days, a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs mentioned that the decision is confidential. An appeal has been filed in the case.
