New Delhi: The Indian Air Force will incorporate 97 ‘LAC Mark 1A fighter jets,’ replacing the Mig 21 aircraft with the advanced version of Tejas.

In a boost to the Indian aerospace sector, the Indian Air Force is set to incorporate 97 ‘Made in India’ fighter jets. This decision aims to promote indigenous aerospace manufacturing. Previously, a contract was signed for 83 fighter aircraft, making this the second contract with a demand for including 97 aircraft.
