Following India’s triumphant lunar conquest, a number of infants born in Odisha’s Kendrapara district were bestowed with the name ‘Chandrayaan’.
The elated parents of at least four newborns, comprising three boys and a girl, chose to name their children in honor of the momentous occasion. The births took place at the Kendrapara district hospital on the evening of Wednesday.
Pravat Mallick, the father of one of these newborns, shared, “It was a twofold joy for us. Our baby came into the world shortly after the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon. We unanimously decided to bestow our child with the name associated with this lunar mission.”
