Sitaram Yechury, the National Secretary of the Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM), stated that despite participating in the opposition alliance INC-IDF, there is no question of compromising with the Trinamool Congress. He mentioned that INC-IDF is not an electoral alliance but has been formed to save the country.
