While serving as the Prime Minister, Imran Khan was permitted by the Supreme Court a few years ago to utilize a sum of approximately 450 billion rupees, part of the hefty fine imposed on a businessman, not by depositing it into the national treasury but for partial resolution of the penalty. Since stepping down from power, over 150 cases have been filed against him.
