Mariam Nawaz, the first female Chief Minister of Punjab province in Pakistan, addressed a program in Lahore on the occasion of Women’s Day. She stated that she had to work hard to carve out a place for herself in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). She mentioned that it took her more than a decade of dedicated efforts to establish her position within the party.
