Defending Paralympic champion Sumit Antil created a new world record and won the gold medal in the F64 javelin throw event at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games here on Wednesday.
Twenty-five year old Sumit won the gold medal with an effort of 73.29 metres. He improved his own world record of 70.83m which he had set while winning the gold medal at the World Para Athletics Championships in Paris this year.
