Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will seek permission to introduce a bill amending the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, on the tenth day of the winter session of Parliament. Additionally, she will advance the presentation of the Finance Bill, 2023, for immediate implementation of provisions related to the imposition or increase of customs and excise duties. Meanwhile, Minister of State Kiran Rijiju will address the status of implementing recommendations from various reports regarding the Ministry of Earth Sciences.
