Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed that the current Parliament session, although brief in duration, holds significant significance due to the historic decisions it encompasses.
Addressing the media before the commencement of the five-day session, Modi emphasized the upcoming transition to the new parliamentary building on Tuesday. He encouraged MPs to approach their duties with renewed enthusiasm while leaving behind past shortcomings, alluding to the frequent protests and disruptions by opposition members in previous sessions.
He further highlighted India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission, the remarkable achievements during its G20 presidency, the launch of ‘PM Vishwakarma Mission,’ and the inauguration of the international convention center Yashobhoomi. Modi asserted that these developments have not only inspired the nation but also filled it with a sense of pride.
