Pentagon Official: US Actively Engaged in Discussions with India on Manufacturing Military Systems

A high-ranking Pentagon official, Siddharth Iyer, Director for South Asia Policy at the Office of the Secretary of Defence, revealed that the United States is currently engaged in active discussions with the Indian government regarding the potential production of military systems, specifically focusing on areas related to Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR), and ground-based conventional warfare. Iyer made this announcement during an event held at the esteemed Hudson Institute on Tuesday.

He stated, “We are in active talks with the Indian government to explore the manufacturing of military systems, particularly in the domains of ISR and ground-based conventional warfare. Further details will be disclosed as these discussions progress.”
