The “PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana,” initiated by the central government, has commenced in the district, aiming to provide free electricity up to 300 units to consumers. Under the scheme, postal department workers are going door-to-door, informing people about the scheme and its benefits. Additionally, interested beneficiaries can register for the scheme free of cost through a mobile app.
