R Praggnanandhaa, who was introduced to chess by his parents to keep him away from television, is now on his way to becoming the new king of the 64-square game.
The 18-year-old has been touted as a possible successor to five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand for quite some time now and he proved it right with his stellar performance at the ongoing FIDE World Cup in Baku.
