While authorities claim to have changed the transformer within 48 hours of its malfunction, the reality on the ground differs. In Turkauli village, a burnt transformer has plagued the area for a month. Consumers are running between sub-centers and workshops, attempting to replace it, but success has been elusive. Consequently, around 250 homes remain engulfed in darkness.
