President Murmu Explores Basilica of Bom Jesus During Goa visit

On Thursday, President Droupadi Murmu undertook a visit to the Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa as part of her third-day itinerary in the coastal state. A notable government official confirmed the visit.

Situated in the North Goa district, this church is renowned for safeguarding the relics of St. Francis Xavier and holds the prestigious UNESCO certification as a world heritage site.

Around 10:30 am, the President arrived at the Basilica of Bom Jesus, where she conducted an exploration of the church premises, as detailed by the official.
