Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that poverty in India is now at its lowest level as household consumption has increased two and a half times compared to a decade ago.
Addressing the gathering at Global Summit on ‘India: Ready for the Next Big Leap’, he cited data to say that consumption in rural India has grown at a faster pace than urban India.
