Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Saturday, unveiled 16 residential schools for underprivileged children in Uttar Pradesh.

These schools, known as Atal Awasiya Vidyalayas, were constructed at a total cost of approximately Rs 1,115 crore. They aim to offer high-quality education to the offspring of laborers, construction workers, and those who lost their parents due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before officially inaugurating these schools, Prime Minister Modi engaged in an interactive session with some of the students.
