Rajya Sabha MP, Priyanka Chaturvedi, expressed her satirical take on the recent visits of Bollywood celebrities to the Parliament. On September 20, actresses Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi toured the Parliament building as part of the promotions for their upcoming movie, “Thank You For Coming.”
Visuals and videos of their visit flooded social media, showcasing the actresses in sarees as they praised the new Parliament’s state-of-the-art architecture. During their visit, they engaged with the media and voiced their appreciation for how the building reflects India’s rich cultural heritage.
In response to this trend, Priyanka Chaturvedi took to her official social media account, humorously commenting, “Now we have movie promotions happening in the parliament too. All that is left to do is for I&B ministry to tweet and promote their upcoming movie ‘Thank you for Coming.’ Very krantikari.”
This visit by Bollywood personalities follows a similar visit by actresses Kangana Ranaut and Esha Deol, along with former Bigg Boss contestant Sapna Choudhary on September 19.
