Himachal Pradesh government will start purchasing cow dung from farmers at the rate of Rs 2 per kg from January 1. State Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Chandra Kumar made this announcement on Thursday.
The minister shared this information during a public meeting at Nagrota Suriyan in Jawali assembly constituency of Kangra district.
