Bathinda police have registered a case against two individuals, including a woman, on charges of fraud amounting to lakhs in separate cases. The alleged suspects have not been arrested so far. In one case, the accused individual defrauded the complainant of approximately 8.75 lakhs by posing as ADGP from the Bathinda Range. According to information, a resident of Zirakpur lured two individuals with the pretext of seizing a plot and extorted 8 lakhs and 75 thousand rupees.
