The announcement of Rajasthan’s new CM has been made, with Bhajanlal Sharma entrusted with the state’s leadership. The decision was taken after a legislative party meeting in Jaipur BJP office. Bhajanlal, a legislator from Sanganer constituency, is also the state BJP’s chief minister. He won with over 48,000 votes and is close to the organization. Having affiliations with the Brahmin community, he is a first-time legislator and a prominent figure in the RSS. Vasundhara Raje had proposed his candidacy. Bhajanlal Sharma, 56, is also the state secretary of the BJP.
