The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is promoting the construction of the Ram temple as a way to achieve cultural independence. That’s why celebrating Diwali on the day of construction of Ram temple will be celebrated as the starting day of cultural freedom. VHP has been saying that people of every religious community living in this country have been Hindus in some form or the other and they have been identified with Lord Rama and this culture, the organization is also urging people of every religious community to join this campaign.
