The Reserve Bank of India has canceled the license of United India Cooperative Bank Limited, a cooperative bank of Uttar Pradesh. The bank has taken this step on the basis of insufficient capital and low earning potential.
RBI said in a statement issued on Wednesday that the bank will not be able to do business from Wednesday evening due to the cancellation of license.
