Prominent Congress leaders gathered in Hyderabad on Saturday for the inaugural meeting of the reconstituted Congress Working Committee (CWC). During this meeting, they will formulate a comprehensive strategy to guide the party to victory in the forthcoming assembly elections in five states and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
By choosing to conduct this crucial Congress Working Committee (CWC) session in the capital of Telangana, the party is also conveying its determination to unseat the incumbent BRS government in the state, which is heading to the polls.
Before the CWC meeting, the first to be held outside of Delhi in many years, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge stated that his party has striven for and introduced democracy, social justice, progress, and equality in the country.
