Relationship between Religion and Politics: True development will occur through working within respective boundaries.

The aspiration for a grand temple at the birthplace of Lord Rama has been a national desire for centuries. Many attempts were made, numerous lives were dedicated, and extensive struggles occurred, but the immediate politics did not align with religion. Now, the fulfillment of the dreams of millions has come to fruition through the pursuit of duties in both politics and religion. In independent India, there was a sense of animosity between religion and politics. The relationship between religion and modern politics here was guided by the European model. In Europe, there was a prolonged struggle over the distribution of powers between the political system and the church. To resolve the conflict, there was a separation between the church and the actions of the ruler.
