On behalf of Pitkul, covered conductors were installed in place of electrical conductors on the 33 KVA line. Due to this, all the feeders of Himalayan power plant and the military feeder of Ramnagar power plant II remained closed for about seven hours. A population of about 50 thousand had to face power cut. People heaved a sigh of relief when electricity supply started at around 4.30 pm.
