In the Sandeshkhali and Sheikh Shahjahan case, the Mamata government knocked on the door of the Supreme Court against the CBI investigation. However, the court refused immediate hearing on the matter. Mamata government has challenged the High Court’s decision. It is worth mentioning that on Tuesday (March 5), the Calcutta High Court had ordered to hand over the investigation of the attack on the ED team to the CBI.
