With the help of Sangeeta Kumari’s hat-trick, India defeated Thailand 7-1 in their opening match of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament here on Friday.
The Indian team, which won the bronze medal in the Asian Games, maintained dominance from the beginning till the end and did not allow the Thailand team to dominate at any point of time.
