SCO countries should respect each other’s sovereignty, strictly follow international law: Jaishankar

Foreign Minister S. Taking a dig at China, Jaishankar on Thursday said the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) should maintain stability in the region by strictly adhering to the principles of international law, respecting each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and encouraging economic cooperation. And we should work together to promote prosperity.

Jaishankar made this comment when he was addressing the 22nd session of the Council of Heads of Government of SCO in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Representatives from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Iran, China, Russia, Tajikistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan participated in this session.
