The inflow of foreign funds and the rise in the US market on Tuesday opened the local stock market with a strong trend in early trade on Wednesday.
BSE’s 30-share Sensex gained 270.39 points to reach 66,626.10 points in early trade. The National Stock Exchange’s Nifty was also trading at 19,748.85 points with a gain of 69 points.
