Several petitions have been filed in the court against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Today, the Supreme Court heard all these petitions. During the hearing, the Center requested time from the Supreme Court to file a response to the applications seeking a stay on the implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Rules 2024, which was filed on Tuesday. The court will now conduct the next hearing on April 9th.”
