Mumbai, July 2 (IANS) Reality show ‘Lock Upp 2’ witnessed a fresh controversy after contestant Shreya Kalra made controversial remarks about fellow contestants Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopra.
The social media influencer, after a heated back to back arguments with many contestants, went on a rant while talking to fellow inmate Madhuri Jain Grover.
Shreya claimed that unlike Shivangi and Harshad, she had not entered the reality show to revive her career.
She also claimed to be bigger and more popular than both Shivangi and Harshad.
Shreya said, “I know I am bigger than all of them because my life has just begun. This isn’t the only show I have to do and win. I am going to do a lot more in life. I know that, and I am proud of it because I am talented and skilled.”
She further took a dig at Shivangi and Harshad, and said, “I am not here to revive my career like them. Like, all my shows are flopping, so let me do a reality show. That way I will regain my audience. Their career is dead. Shivangi’s last show was a flop. No one is giving Harshad work outside. He is arrogant.”
Shreya also made a personal remark about Harshad, and further said, “That’s why he is not married. Because no woman would marry a guy like him.”
Earlier Shreya had an intense argument with Pamela Serena where fashion critic Sufi Motiwala also criticised Shreya during the altercation.
Talking about Shivangi Joshi, for the uninitiated, is one of Indian television’s most popular actresses.
She rose to fame with her popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Her character as Naira in the show went on to become extremely popular and loved by many.
The actress also went on to become the lead in shows like ‘Balika Vadhu 2’ and ‘Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka’.
Talking about Harshad Chopra, meanwhile, has been a leading face on television with acclaimed performances in ‘Bepannaah’, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and many more successful shows.
The actor has been a part of the television industry for almost two decades.
