Amazon Web Services India has joined hands with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to offer comprehensive cloud skills training to a cohort of 1,500 individuals, as announced by the company on Tuesday.
This partnership is geared towards empowering and equipping 30,000 underprivileged youth with essential skills, with a notable emphasis on ensuring that 50 percent of the beneficiaries are women, the company added.
Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, highlighted the significance of this collaboration by stating, “This partnership holds particular importance for individuals seeking proficiency in cloud computing skills… it will create expanded avenues for women to actively pursue careers in the tech industry.” (PTI GRJ TRB)
