The local stock market returned fast on Monday and the BSE Sensex was up by 79.27 points. The market got support from the buying in Reliance Industries and Infosys, which had a strong share in the index in the last hour of trading amid a good opening in the European markets.
The thirty-share BSE Sensex closed at 65,401.92 points, up 79.27 points, or 0.12 percent. At one point during the trading, it fell 500.77 points to 64,821.88 points.
