Local stock markets gained momentum for the second consecutive trading session on Monday and the BSE Sensex gained 232 points. Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Industries were among the gainers in the market despite a weak global trend.
However, the market could not register strong gains due to continued capital outflows by foreign institutional investors.
