According to the data released by Immigration, Refugees, Citizenship of Canada, a total of 2 lakh 25 thousand 940 international students have been given visas in 2023, out of which 37.1% are Indians.
In the last year, Canada had given study visas to 2,25,940 Indian students, which was 41.1 percent of the total 5,49,260 study visas issued by Canada. The figure till July this year has reached 37% and currently it does not include the students of September and January sessions, which have the highest number of students from India.
