
A large gathering, including prominent figures from the film and political realms, as well as the general public, converged in Sahara City to pay their last respects and offer condolences at the final viewing of Sahara Group’s founder, Subrata Roy. Paying homage were notable figures such as SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Congress leader Raj Babbar, Sonu Nigam, BJP leader Naresh Agrawal, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari, and many others. Additionally, a significant number of Sahara Group employees were granted entry upon presenting their IDs. Subrata Roy’s mortal remains were brought from Mumbai to Lucknow on Wednesday and were kept for final viewing in Sahara City. People continued to arrive for his last viewing throughout the night. Subrata Roy passed away on Tuesday at the age of 75 in a Mumbai hospital after a prolonged battle with cancer. His mortal remains were brought to Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport in Lucknow on Wednesday evening via a charter plane.”
