Green vegetables are considered beneficial for all, escalating prices have turned them into a focal point of politics. Protests are ongoing throughout the state, and today in Kanpur, Aam Aadmi Party members protested uniquely. They visited an Indian bank and symbolically placed tomatoes, peppers, ginger, and other vegetables in bags, alluding to the popular song ‘Rising Inflation Hits.’ Amidst the song’s lyrics, the party members creatively expressed their frustration. According to them, vegetables have become distant for the common man due to excessive price hikes, and the government seems unresponsive. They emphasize that the exorbitant price increase has made it difficult for people to afford vegetables.
