In the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari has demanded a CBI investigation into the alleged embezzlement of central funds in Bengal. Suvendu Adhikari has accused the TMC of being involved in a major scandal, claiming that thousands of village heads associated with the TMC are engaged in corruption under the MGNREGA scheme. He alleges that state government officials are also complicit in this.
