Former National General Secretary of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Nasimuddin Siddiqui, and three other accused individuals had requested the Special Judge of the MP/MLA Court, Harbans Narayan, to acquit them from the charges. It’s worth mentioning that they were facing a case related to making indecent comments about women in the context of the family of the Transport Minister, Dayashankar Singh. The application seeking their acquittal has now been dismissed by the court.
