The government is tightening the noose against casinos and online gaming companies. At the same time, Dream Sports, the parent company of online gaming platform Dream-11, has received a notice for evading GST. According to the report of Money Control, Dream-11 company has received a notice of Rs 40 thousand crores. The Money Control report, citing sources, said that the tax allegations against Dream 11 are staggering, totaling a whopping Rs 40,000 crore. If confirmed, it will be the largest ever claim in the history of indirect taxation in India.
