The BJP has appointed former state president Subhash Barala as the candidate for the Rajya Sabha, which could deal a blow to the JJP by possibly losing a Panchayat minister.

Haryana: The central election committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party has announced candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in various states. In this series, BJP has nominated Subhash Barala as the Rajya Sabha candidate from Haryana. Barala has previously served as the president of the Haryana BJP. With Subhash Barala’s entry into the Rajya Sabha, the clash between him and Devendra Babli, a minister in the JJP quota, is expected to nearly come to an end.
