The doors of Lord Bhakunt Bhairav, revered as the Kshetrapal in Kedarnath Dham, have been closed as per the rituals on Saturday at 3 pm for the winter season. On this occasion, the entire area echoed with the praises of Lord Bhairav.
The doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham will be closed on 15th November on the holy festival of Bhaiya Dooj. On the same day, the Chal Utsav Vigraha of Baba Kedar will leave from Doli Dham for its winter seat and reach Rampur, the first stop for the night stay.
