The Election Commission of India (ECI) ordered the removal of Home Secretaries of Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on Monday. This decision came after a meeting of the commission, chaired by CEC Kumar and members EC Jainesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu. The commission instructed all state governments to transfer officials involved in election-related activities.
