“The Uttar Pradesh government will focus on the development of cities with religious significance. A special plan is being prepared for this purpose. In the first phase, four cities have been selected for the development of infrastructure and public facilities. These include Mirzapur associated with Vindhyachal Dham, Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, Chitrakoot linked with Lord Shri Ram, and Saharanpur associated with Maa Shakumbhari Dham. The responsibility of preparing the plan has been given to the Urban Development Department. The presentation of the plan will soon be made before the Chief Minister.”
