DGP Vijay Kumar executed swift action as directed by the Honorable CM. Effective prosecution is underway in court, focusing on crimes including murder, robbery, and dacoity. Over the past 40 days, 471 cases have been tried, resulting in penalties for various offenses. Three received the death penalty, and 242 were sentenced for female-related crimes.
Some cases were expedited, delivering prompt justice. Four members of organized crime groups received sentences, while 30 cases of rape and five cases of murder led to punishments. Those contributing to effective court proceedings will receive commendation from the Police Chief. The court has already ruled on four out of five mafia-related cases, while the police’s efficient proceedings lead to swift justice. The police are expediting court dates to accelerate prosecutions.
